Similar to their cousins instead of feathering, Direcinidaes developed long ribbed ears used for better hearing; because of this they are grounded for life. These guys have tons of negative stigma surrounding them and that causes many humans to abandon them. There have been plenty of rumors but the most popular one that sick out the most is that these creatures feed off your soul. Due to all this negativity they Adapted by having a thick Gem Skull cause Dires have such Resilient Hearts. One can tell a Direcinidae apart by their long ribbed ears, Short tuffed fur, Gem placement along their rib-cage as well as a Hardy Gem Skull.. Direcinidae are always dark in color and often duller unlike the other Cinidaes. Finding vibrant Direcindiaes is quite the rare sight, and finding a Albino Direcinidae is almost impossible. |
